JNTU-HYD : Important Guidelines From Registrar for Affiliated & Constituent Colleges

It was reported in the Media that an accident has taken place in Himachal Pradesh involving students of VNR VJIET in which some students are reported as missing or dead.

In this connection, the University has constituted a committee to look into the issue and suggest necessary measures. The Committee members met in the chambers of the Vice-Chancellor held on 09.06.2014 at 11.30 AM and resolved as follows:

1. No activity (Extra curricular) wherein students safety is at risk should be taken up by the College/Student/Faculty or both.

2. The academic course structure and schedule should be strictly followed as per the University directions.

3. Safety and security measures along with safety gadgets should always be worn by the students, where the students are on Industrial training during Mini Project / Major Project period.

4. Any Violation of the above guidelines issued by the University may lead to de-affiliation of the College.

Hence, the Principals of the Constituent and Affiliated Colleges are requested to follow the above guidelines.
